You seem very happy with your graphics...
...and rightfully so, but keep in mind that gaming is not ALL about graphics. I espect how hard this must of been to make and how much time and effort you put into this, but that time and effort doesn't show if you don't check over the finished game as if you were someone playing your game. For instance the graphics and hard work are difficult to appreciate when there are spelling mistakes that seem to ruin the medieval(?) atmosphere of the game such as 'stopps'
Plus it is hard to fully appreicate the game when it just isn't that fun to play. I mean I feel bad saying this considering how much time you must have spent making this, but I think that time was spent MAKING it as opposed to THINKING about it. There just is a general lack of anything in it that would make anyone that interested in it. I mean, I played it 'till the end, and I will definately play part 2. I'm not saying it isn't playable, but you just need to obviously (I know it's been said a million times before) give more time to defeat enemies, make the game a little less systematic and linear, make it longer, create a better atmosphere by perhaps adding some eerie or even suitable music, and just generally tidy up the presentation a bit; the menu screen was particularly ugly. Also finally one thing I really didn't like about this game were the drawings of the characters like the trainer. Concindering all the time you spend on the overworld graphics, you could have spent more time drawing better, less child's cartoonish looking characters. Anyway, In conclusion, you are obviously a talented games maker, just keep at it and try and make games you would yourself be interested in playing, graphics aside, and also test your games before uploading them.
